Infused oils last for more time when they are properly stored. Oils that have been opened and are exposed to air more frequently and oils stored at warmer temperature may have decreased shelf life, perhaps lasting for only a few weeks or a few months. A few drops of Vitamin E oil may act as a natural antioxidant and might extend the shelf life of infused oils.
